Daily Activities

Day 1: Bat
TP Roll Bat's
 Day 2: Candy Corn
  • Create -
  • Read -  Halloween by Jerry Seinfeld. I recommend this for those that are Jerry Seinfeld fans. If you read this to your toddler you may want to alter some words.
  • Treat - Candy Corn Cheesecake Mousse by Glorious Treats
  • Sensory Bin - Candy Corn Sensory Seek by Tutus & Tea Parties. How to dye rice using vinegar by Happy Hooligans.  I also mixed in Candy Corn M&M's.
  • Play Dough - Glitter & Scented Candy Corn Play Dough. I used Jello to scent the play dough: orange, pina colada (couldn't find-used coconut extract instead), & island pineapple, click here for recipe.  If you only have one child, I recommend only making half the recipe for the white & yellow. Make a full batch of the orange and set aside half so it can be used for Halloween day.
  • Color - C is for Candy Corn by Twisty Noodle
  • Breakfast - Candy Corn Pancakes by Living In the 100. Substitute the blueberries with 1/4 C of M&M Candy Corn. Top with whip cream and one candy corn per pancake. Pumpkin Latte's by Living In the 100.
  • Night Time Cocktail for Mom & Dad - Candy Corn Martini by We Are Not Martha.

    • The House That Witchy Built by Dianne De las Casas
    • One Witch by Laura Leuck
  • Watch - Witches' Brew
  • Games -
    • Witch Pitch  by Chica and Jo
    • Witches' Hat Ring Toss by Sometimes Creative. Mine is with a twist: Make green blobs under hats (melted witches). Use bright green paint and then green glow in the dark paint. The rings are glow sticks (necklaces and bracelets) from the dollar store. Use a different color per player. Once glow has depleted, then they can be used to play the game during the daytime. And the hats are from Party City. Also we used a black light to help enhance the green glow of the witches. Our son loves this game!
  • Color - W is for Witch by Twisty Noodle
  • Play Dough - You will need Sparkly Green Play Dough, googly eyes, black pom pom's for warts, small witch hat from party city, orange pipe cleaners for hair. The concept for the Witch Play Dough Created by Learning Letter Tiles.
